Principal Designer

As a Principal Designer on the Harry Potter team, I took lead on a number of tasks most of which revolved around pitching, designing, and implementing features. My process generally starts with a product goal and by understanding our players perspective, I create a feature that tackles our initial goals, is true to the Harry Potter band, and is fun for our players.

My responsibilities included:

  • Roadmap collaboration with Product Team

  • Partner communication and approvals

  • Feature work

    • Pitch decks

    • Mood boards / Storyboards

    • Technical spec writing and system design

    • Economic tuning

    • Templatized documentation

    • UX mocks including asset lists and copy

    • Unity prototype builds (C#)

    • User testing

  • Feature testing

  • Post mortem and review
